League One (Week 5) : Bristol Rovers beats Swindon 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 5: After four straigth draws, the Pirates returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Swindon Town this Tuesday.
Swindon Town had started off well by taking the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Jones Lloyd. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pirates nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Taylor Matthew '83 on penalty and Raphael Rossi Branco '84 own).
Bristol Rovers FC climbed to 15th place with 10 points from 8 games, tie on points with Charlton Athletic FC.
