League One (Week 9) : Bury beats Chesterfield 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: Four wins in a row for Bury. After their success against Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town and Swindon Town, the Shakers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Chesterfield this Saturday.
Ismail Zeli opened the score in the 41st minute, before seeing Chesterfield catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Dennis Kristian. 1-1 at half time. The Shakers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Pope Tom with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Bury FC climbed to second place with 17 points from 9 games, only one point behind Scunthorpe United FC.
