League One (Week 9) : Gillingham defeats Coventry 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: After losing 2-1 to Port Vale on September 17, the Gills returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Coventry City this Saturday.
Reid Kyel opened the score in the 21st minute, before seeing Gillingham catch up in the 26th minute thanks to Ehmer Max. 1-1 at half time. The Gills eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Knott Billy in the 72nd minute.
Gillingham FC climbed to 8th place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with Sheffield United FC.
