ENGLAND, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: Scunthorpe United was held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield United on Saturday.
Sheffield United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Basham Chris in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Sharp Billy goal on penalty ('85) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Scunthorpe United with goals by Morris Josh ('55) and Holmes Duane ('82).
Scunthorpe United FC remains in first place with 18 points from 9 games, one point ahead of runner-up Bury FC.
