ENGLAND, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 11: After two straigth victories against Southend United and Swindon Town, the Cobblers lost 3-2 against Bristol Rovers.
Northampton Town had started off well by taking the lead in the 9th minute with a goal by Revell Alex. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Pirates nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Gaffney Rory '60, Hartley Peter '71 and Colkett Charlie '90).
Northampton Town FC are down in fifth place with 17 points from 11 games, one point behind Sheffield United FC.
