ENGLAND, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Southend United on October 29, Salop returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Oxford United this Saturday.
Shrewsbury Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Leitch-smith Aj in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Salop further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Whalley Shaun in stoppage time.
Oxford United FC are down in 20th place with 19 points from 17 games, tie on points with Swindon Town FC.
