League One (Week 17) : Gillingham beats Northampton 2-1
ENGLAND, Nov. 12, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 17: After losing 2-1 to Fleetwood Town on October 29, the Gills returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Northampton Town this Saturday.
Northampton Town had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by O Toole John-joe. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gills nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Ehmer Max '48 and Emmanuel-thomas Jay '90).
Northampton Town FC are down in 7th place with 24 points from 17 games, one point behind Port Vale FC.
