League One (Week 18) : Gillingham beats Walsall 2-1

ENGLAND, Nov. 19, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Gillingham. After their 2-1 win against Northampton Town on November 12, the Gills continued their sensational form in the League One with a 2-1 victory over Walsall this Saturday.

Mcdonald Cody opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Walsall catch up in the 9th minute thanks to Mccarthy Jason. 1-1 at half time. The Gills eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Emmanuel-thomas Jay with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.

Gillingham FC climbed to 15th place with 23 points from 18 games, tie on points with Charlton Athletic FC, which has a game in hand.
