ENGLAND, Oct. 29, 2016 (AMP) — League One / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their 2-4 win against Shrewsbury Town on October 22, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League One with a 3-2 victory over Bury this Saturday.
Richards Marc scored dual goals
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Richards Marc in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Richards Marc '64/penalty and Taylor Matthew '71).
Northampton Town FC climbed to fifth place with 24 points from 16 games, 4 points behind Sheffield United FC, which has a game in hand.
