League One (Week 41) : Oxford defeats Bury 5-1

ENGLAND, Mar. 28, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 41: After their 0-0 draw against Northampton Town on March 25, the Boys from Up the Hill returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Bury this Tuesday.

Mcaleny Conor scored dual goals

Oxford United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Johnson Marvin ('11), Rothwell Joe ('35) and Martinez Toni ('39). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Boys from Up the Hill further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mcaleny Conor '49, '90).

Oxford United FC climbed to 8th place with 59 points from 40 games, only one point behind Millwall FC, which has a game in hand.
