ENGLAND, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: After three straigth defeats, Rovers bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle this Saturday.
Doncaster Rovers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Butler Andy in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rovers further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Marquis John '59 and Kongolo Rodney '74).
Doncaster Rovers FC climbed to 17th place with 9 points from 9 games, only one point behind Southend United FC.
