ENGLAND, Sep. 23, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 9: After three straigth victories against Charlton Athletic, Bristol Rovers and Northampton Town, the Latics lost 3-2 against Peterborough United.

Morias Junior scored dual goals

Wigan Athletic had started off well by taking the lead in the 33rd minute with a goal by Jacobs Michael. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Posh nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Morias Junior '47, '84 and Marriott Jack '90).

Peterborough United FC climbed to second place with 20 points from 9 games, 3 points behind Shrewsbury Town FC.
