League One (Week 4) : Peterborough defeats Northampton 4-1

ENGLAND, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 4: Four wins in a row for Peterborough United. After their success against Plymouth Argyle, Bristol Rovers and Rotherham United, Posh continued their sensational form in the League One with a 4-1 victory over Northampton Town this Saturday.

Peterborough United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Edwards Gwion ('32) and Morias Junior ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, Posh further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Marriott Jack '75 and Maddison Marcus '90/penalty).

Peterborough United FC climbed to first place with 12 points from 4 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Wigan Athletic FC.
