ENGLAND, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 4: Wigan Athletic was held to a 1-1 draw by Portsmouth on Saturday.
Wigan Athletic players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Toney Ivan in the 8th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Portsmouth with a saving goal from Chaplin Conor in the 76th minute.
Wigan Athletic FC are down in second place with 10 points from 4 games, 2 points behind Peterborough United FC.
