ENGLAND, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — League One / Match day 4: The match between Gillingham and Southend United ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Southend United players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Leonard Ryan in the 20th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Kightly Michael ('65) and Cox Simon ('73) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Gillingham with triple goals from Eaves Tom ('56, '63 and '80.
