League Two (Week 5) : Burton defeats Mansfield 2-1
ENGLAND, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 5: After their 1-1 draw against Newport County on August 23, the Brewers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Mansfield Town this Saturday.
Burton Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Macdonald in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brewers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mcfadzean in the 71st minute.
Burton Albion FC climbed to first place with 13 points from 5 games, one point ahead of runner-up Morecambe FC.
