ENGLAND, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 5: After four straigth victories against Dagenham & Redbridge, Newport County, Oxford United and Cambridge United, the Shrimps lost 2-1 against Tranmere Rovers.
Stockton scored dual goals
Morecambe had started off well by taking the lead in the 39th minute with a goal by Hughes. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Rovers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Stockton '58, '90).
Morecambe FC are down in third place with 12 points from 5 games, one point behind Burton Albion FC and Cheltenham Town FC.
