League Two (Week 20) : Wycombe Wanderers beats Southend 4-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 13, 2014 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 20: Three wins in a row for Wycombe Wanderers. After their success against Cheltenham Town and Hartlepool United, the Chairboys continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-1 victory over Southend United this Saturday.
Mcclure scored dual goals
Southend United opened the score in the score in the 2nd minute thanks to Payne, before Wycombe Wanderers regained the advantage with Cowan-hall ('32) and Mcclure ('45). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Chairboys further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jacobson '67 and Mcclure '72).
Wycombe Wanderers FC remains in first place with 41 points from 20 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Burton Albion FC.
