League Two (Week 27) : AFC Wimbledon defeats Accrington 2-1
ENGLAND, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 27: After losing 2-1 to Stevenage on January 17 and 1-3 to Carlisle United on January 17, Dons returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Accrington Stanley this Saturday.
AFC Wimbledon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rigg in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Dons further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Azeez in the 78th minute.
AFC Wimbledon climbed to 12nd place with 36 points from 26 games, only one point behind Morecambe FC.
