ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 26: After three straigth defeats, the Cumbrians returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon this Saturday.
Akinfenwa opened the score in the 1st minute, before seeing Carlisle United catch up in the 16th minute thanks to O Hanlon. 1-1 at half time. The Cumbrians eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Rigg ('56) and Amoo ('90).
AFC Wimbledon are down in 13rd place with 33 points from 25 games, 2 points behind Cambridge United FC.
