ENGLAND, Jan. 17, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 26: Two wins in a row for Stevenage. After their 2-1 win against AFC Wimbledon on January 10, Boro' continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over York City this Saturday.
Stevenage dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Marriott in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Boro' further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pett in the 64th minute.
Stevenage FC climbed to 7th place with 41 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Southend United FC.
