ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 44: Five wins in a row for Southend United. After their success against Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United, Tranmere Rovers and Newport County, the Shrimpers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 1-0 victory over Exeter City this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Timlin in stoppage time.
Southend United FC remains in fifth place with 78 points from 43 games, one point behind Bury FC.
