ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 44: After their 1-1 draw against Carlisle United on April 15, the Brewers returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Morecambe this Saturday.
Akins scored dual goals
Burton Albion dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Akins in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Brewers further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Akins on penalty in the 60th minute.
Burton Albion FC remains in first place with 88 points from 44 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Shrewsbury Town FC.
