League Two (Week 44) : Accrington and Stevenage play to a 2-2 draw
ENGLAND, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 44: The match between Accrington Stanley and Stevenage ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Accrington Stanley players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Maguire ('15, '40) while Stevenage only scored once Walton ('19 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Stevenage with a saving goal from Beardsley in the 89th minute.
Stevenage FC remains in 6th place with 69 points from 44 games, 9 points behind Southend United FC, which has a game in hand.
