League Two (Week 22) : Newport and AFC Wimbledon play out 2-2 draw
WALES, Dec. 19, 2015 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 22: The match between Newport County and AFC Wimbledon ended in a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Newport County players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Rodman Alex ('14) and Robinson Paul ('30 own). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by AFC Wimbledon with dual goals from Taylor Lyle ('46 and '79.
AFC Wimbledon remains in 14th place with 29 points from 22 games, tie on points with Luton Town FC.
