ENGLAND, Feb. 6, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 30: 6 wins in a row for Northampton Town. After their success against Accrington Stanley, Barnet, Plymouth Argyle, Dagenham & Redbridge and Morecambe, the Cobblers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over York City this Saturday.
Northampton Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by O Toole John-joe in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Cobblers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Richards Marc in the 54th minute.
Northampton Town FC remains in first place with 61 points from 28 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Plymouth Argyle FC.
