League Two (Week 37) : Bristol Rovers defeats Newport 4-1
WALES, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 37: Five wins in a row for Bristol Rovers. After their success against Hartlepool United, Notts County, AFC Wimbledon and Mansfield Town, the Pirates continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-1 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
Rodman Alex opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Bristol Rovers catch up in the 15th minute thanks to Clarke Ollie. 1-1 at half time. The Pirates eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Castillo Montano ('55), Taylor Matty ('61) and Harrison Ellis ('85).
Bristol Rovers FC climbed to third place with 65 points from 37 games, 3 points behind Oxford United FC.
