League Two (Week 37) : AFC Wimbledon beats York 2-1
ENGLAND, Mar. 19, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 37: After losing 3-1 to Bristol Rovers on March 12 and 2-1 to Morecambe on March 12, Dons returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over York City this Saturday.
York City had started off well by taking the lead in the 38th minute with a goal by Penn Russell. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Dons nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Murphy Rhys '68 and Reeves Jake '90).
AFC Wimbledon remains in 9th place with 56 points from 37 games, one point behind Wycombe Wanderers FC.
