ENGLAND, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Doncaster Rovers. After their 1-5 win against Morecambe on September 10, Rovers continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
Doncaster Rovers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Coppinger James in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rovers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Williams Andy in the 59th minute.
Doncaster Rovers FC climbed to second place with 16 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Plymouth Argyle FC.
