League Two (Week 8) : Crewe beats Grimsby 2-0
ENGLAND, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 8: Three wins in a row for Crewe Alexandra. After their success against Doncaster Rovers and Exeter City, the Railwaymen continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Grimsby Town this Saturday.
Crewe Alexandra dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Cooper George in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Railwaymen further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Jones James with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Crewe Alexandra FC climbed to third place with 15 points from 8 games, only one point behind Doncaster Rovers FC.
