League Two (Week 8) : Morecambe beats Cambridge United 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 17, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 8: After losing 1-2 to Leyton Orient on September 10 and 1-5 to Doncaster Rovers on September 10, the Shrimps bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Cambridge United this Saturday.
Cambridge United had started off well by taking the lead in the 36th minute with a goal by Mingoia Piero. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Shrimps nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Dunn Jack '62 on penalty and Mullin Paul '64).
Morecambe FC climbed to fourth place with 15 points from 8 games, tie on points with Crewe Alexandra FC.
