League Two (Week 7) : Plymouth defeats Cambridge United 2-1
ENGLAND, Sep. 10, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 7: Five wins in a row for Plymouth Argyle. After their success against Notts County, Mansfield Town, Blackpool and Cheltenham Town, the Pilgrims continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Cambridge United this Saturday.
Plymouth Argyle dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Carey Graham in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Pilgrims further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Slew Jordan in the 59th minute.
Plymouth Argyle FC climbed to first place with 15 points from 7 games, one point ahead of runner-up Portsmouth FC.
