League Two (Week 9) : Crewe and Blackpool play out 1-1 draw
ENGLAND, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 9: Crewe Alexandra was held to a 1-1 draw by Blackpool on Saturday.
Blackpool players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guthrie Jon into his own net in the 10th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Crewe Alexandra with a saving goal from Lowe Ryan in the 71st minute.
Crewe Alexandra FC are down in fifth place with 16 points from 9 games, tie on points with Doncaster Rovers FC.
