League Two (Week 22) : Cambridge United defeats Stevenage 2-1
ENGLAND, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 22: Five wins in a row for Cambridge United. After their success against Notts County, Cheltenham Town, Hartlepool United and Crewe Alexandra, The U's continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-1 victory over Stevenage this Monday.
Cambridge United dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Legge Leon in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, The U's further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mingoia Piero with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Cambridge United FC climbed to 6th place with 34 points from 22 games, only one point behind Luton Town FC.
