League Two (Week 23) : Colchester beats Stevenage 4-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 31, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Colchester United. After their success against Notts County and Luton Town, The U's continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 4-2 victory over Stevenage this Saturday.
Colchester United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dickenson Ben ('15) and Guthrie Kurtis ('19 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, The U's further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Porter Chris '81 and Fosu Tariqe '90).
Colchester United FC climbed to 9th place with 33 points from 23 games, only one point behind Blackpool FC.
