League Two (Week 23) : Hartlepool beats Morecambe 3-2
ENGLAND, Dec. 30, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 23: After losing 0-1 to Blackpool on December 26, the Pools bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Morecambe this Friday.
Hartlepool United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Amond Padraig ('10), Paynter Billy ('14 on penalty) and Featherstone Nicky ('24). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Pools further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Hartlepool United FC climbed to 18th place with 26 points from 23 games, tie on points with Mansfield Town FC, which has a game in hand.
