League Two (Week 22) : Portsmouth beats Newport 3-2
WALES, Dec. 26, 2016 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 22: After their 0-0 draw against Hartlepool United on December 17, Pompey returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Newport County this Monday.
Newport County had started off well by taking the lead in the 25th minute with a goal by Sheehan Josh. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Pompey nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Rose Danny '56, Stevens Enda '80 and Naismith Kal '87).
Portsmouth FC remains in fourth place with 38 points from 22 games, 5 points behind Carlisle United FC.
