League Two (Week 29) : Mansfield defeats Barnet 2-0
ENGLAND, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for Mansfield Town. After their success against Cambridge United and Leyton Orient, the Stags continued their sensational form in the League Two with a 2-0 victory over Barnet this Saturday.
Mansfield Town dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Whiteman Ben in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Stags further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Couthirst Shaquile on penalty in the 60th minute.
Mansfield Town FC climbed to 8th place with 43 points from 29 games, 2 points behind Portsmouth FC, which has a game in hand.
