League Two (Week 29) : Doncaster hold Morecambe to 1-1
ENGLAND, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: Doncaster Rovers was held to a 1-1 draw by Morecambe on Saturday.
Morecambe players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Murphy Peter in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Doncaster Rovers with a saving goal from Marquis John in the 56th minute.
Doncaster Rovers FC remains in first place with 62 points from 29 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Plymouth Argyle FC, which has a game in hand.
