ENGLAND, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 29: After their 1-1 draw against Carlisle United on January 21, Stanley bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Notts County this Saturday.
Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rodgers Harvey in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Husin Noor with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Accrington Stanley FC climbed to 19th place with 29 points from 27 games, 2 points behind Hartlepool United FC.
