ENGLAND, Mar. 28, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 25: After their 1-1 draw against Grimsby Town on March 25, Stanley returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Cambridge United this Tuesday.
Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mcconville Sean in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mccartan Shay in the 54th minute.
Cambridge United FC are down in 12nd place with 54 points from 39 games, one point behind Wycombe Wanderers FC.
