ENGLAND, Oct. 28, 2017 (AMP) — League Two / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Carlisle United on October 21, the Magpies bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Newport County this Saturday.
Grant Jorge scored dual goals
Notts County dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Grant Jorge in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Magpies further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Ameobi Shola '52 and Grant Jorge '55).
Notts County FC climbed to first place with 33 points from 16 games, one point ahead of runner-up Accrington Stanley FC.
