Ligue 1 (Week 4) : Monaco and Lille play to a 1-1 draw
FRANCE, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 4: Lille was held to a 1-1 draw by Monaco on Saturday.
Lille players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lille forward Nolan Roux in the 18th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Monaco with a saving goal from Bulgarian forward Dimitar Berbatov in the 61st minute.
Lille climbed to second place with 8 points from 4 games, only one point behind Bordeaux, which has a game in hand.
