Ligue 1 (Week 5) : Lyon beats Monaco 2-1

FRANCE, Sep. 12, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 5: After three straigth defeats, “Les Gones” returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Monaco this Friday.

Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir opened the score in the 30th minute, before seeing Monaco catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Lucas Ocampos. 1-1 at half time. “Les Gones” eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Tolisso in the 73rd minute.

Olympique Lyonnais climbed to 12nd place with 6 points from 5 games, tie on points with Lens, which has a game in hand.
