FRANCE, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 5: The match between Bastia and Lens ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Lens players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine forward Pablo Chavarria in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Bastia with a saving goal from Belgian midfielder Guillaume Gillet in the 54th minute.
Lens climbed to 9th place with 7 points from 5 games, tie on points with Lorient.
