Ligue 1 (Week 23) : Bordeaux hold Guingamp to 1-1
FRANCE, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 23: The match between Bordeaux and Guingamp ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Guingamp players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guingamp midfielder Claudio Beauvue in the 28th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Bordeaux with a saving goal from Bordeaux defender Maxime Poundjé in the 56th minute.
Bordeaux remains in 7th place with 34 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Montpellier HSC.
