Ligue 1 (Week 25) : Bastia beats Nantes 2-0
FRANCE, Feb. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Bastia. After their 2-0 win against Metz on February 7, Bastia continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Nantes this Saturday.
Bastia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ivorian forward Giovanni-Guy Yann Sio in the 30th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bastia players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ayité in the 75th minute.
Nantes remains in 9th place with 33 points from 25 games, one point behind OGC Nice.
