Ligue 1 (Week 25) : Toulouse beats Rennes 2-1
FRANCE, Feb. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 25: After losing 2-0 to Caen on February 7, Toulouse returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Rennes this Saturday.
Toulouse dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine midfielder Oscar Trejo in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Toulouse players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pesic with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Rennes remains in 12nd place with 31 points from 25 games, one point behind Guingamp, which has a game in hand.
