Ligue 1 (Week 31) : Montpellier defeats Bastia 3-1
FRANCE, Apr. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 31: After losing 1-0 to Evian on March 21, Montpellier returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Bastia this Saturday.
Bastia had started off well by taking the lead in the 35th minute with a goal by Ivorian forward Giovanni-Guy Yann Sio. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Montpellier players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Barrios '69 on penalty, Mounier '72 on penalty and Sanson '90).
Montpellier HSC climbed to 6th place with 48 points from 30 games, 5 points behind Saint-Etienne.
