Ligue 1 (Week 22) : Montpellier beats Nantes 4-0
FRANCE, Jan. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Ligue 1 / Match day 22: Three wins in a row for Montpellier. After their success against Marseille and Metz, Montpellier continued their sensational form in the Ligue 1 with a 4-0 victory over Nantes this Saturday.
Montpellier dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Paul Lasne in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Montpellier players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Bérigaud '57, Mounier '78 and Barrios '82).
Montpellier HSC remains in 6th place with 35 points from 22 games, 4 points behind AS Monaco.
